Anybody every used green apple to make curry/achar/chutney??



Well..my gf Chams gave me a recipe for green(granny smith)  mango curry n d thing is so good…

i had the ‘sour’ before ..even from regular green apples(not Granny Smith)  n it was ok..

a month ago my cuz experimented with achar using Granny Smith..n this thing tastes as good as green mango achar(shredded kind)

sow e have a golden delicious tree in the yard n i decided  to try some half ripe ones in my fish , chicken n channa curry n it was delicious with sweet/tangy flavor .  My niece was visitng from Gy n she loved it ..said it tasted better than the mango

we live n learn ..everyday is a new lesson!!
