A a late start to my summer gardening coupled with early frost has forced me to cut down my tomato trees. Now I have tons of green tomatoes on my hands. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

I rode by your house on my way to connect to sligo creek....you have lots of space to plant. I wish I did here. In Philly we plant on the roof.
make pickles, salsas etc with the tomatoes. If you are into cooking I will share my e-books on a sky drive. I have lots....just let me know.
Erroll, I have lots too.
I washed them with a light dishwashing detergent to kill off any fungus or bacteria. I get lots of sunlight by my sliding door. I spread a chadar and spread them out. Check everyday for spoil ones. In time they will all ripen for freezing. Like Chami said, you can make green tomato chutney and cook with it.
Thank you all for your suggestions. I have enough tomatoes to try a bit of each suggestion and I intend to. Thanks again. GNI rocks!

Check your private messages. There may be a few dupes. I have two different tablets and I am now consolidating to one reader. You need to download digital editions to read them on PC. This is not my complete collection but they will keep you busy. Do not share the link. The first IP there has access. Will keep it live for a few days. Go over to the right side "Sort by name"; then go over to the left, check the name check box, all will be selected. Click on download and they will be downloaded to your PC. They are 1.2 G and will take about 3 to 5 mins to come down. Let me know if you get them so I can kill the link
