You would think but I think my mom did a pretty damn good job with me

And I don't have any kids and if I do at 39 which I am not yet..it wouldn't and shouldn't be anyones concern ...yo lucky yo didn't ask that in person

Teenagers are difficult to deal with at any age. I think 50 might be mature enough to have the patience to deal with them better.
