The Commission of Inquiry blamed organizers and politicians for the escalation of tension on that fateful day by failing to advise the protesters to obey police orders by a loudhailer and a banner to remove from the bridge. Those named are Region 10 Chairman, Sharma Solomon and other politicians- Aubrey Norton, Vanessa Kissoon and Desmond Trotman. β€œWhat transpired on the Bridge on July 18, 2012 could have been avoided if some of the influential Community persons had intervened and advised the protestors to display due respect for the law.”

Snews: In 2012 GuySuCo finally got a subvention of around $5 billion from the annual budget but today we have a poorly functioning sugar industry which had never received any of the $24.7 billion released to the Government to rehabilitate and make competitive the Guyana sugar industry.”
Vieira called on former Agriculture Minister, Robert Persaud, to explain what was done with this money.

β€œGiven this government propensity for incompetence and corruption the money was clearly wasted on grandiose projects that cannot bring wealth to the nation or its people.”

Where did this money go Cobra?

Mitwah

ANY act of civil disobedience will violate SOME law . . . that's why it is called DISOBEDIENCE you sick ignoramuses [D_G, Cobra, & the OP antiman, that means u]!

To therefore gun them down like dogs is the response of your archtypal, Southern redneck governor, circa 1954, or the apartheid enforcers at Sharpeville.

I suggest you find a law they have broken under which they can be charged first

oh and . . . your statement regarding Nigel Hughes is curious/baffling . . understood fully [only] if one recognizes your weasel's co-signing of rev's MURDER-for-hire list . . . in effect, sharing the same soiled panty

MAJORITY OF PERSONS BELIEVE APNU’S DESMOND TROTMAN SHOULD BE REMOVED AS A PARLIAMENTARIAN - POLL!!

A poll conducted by NewGuyMedia on our website concluded with a whopping 82% of voters agreeing that A Partnership for National Unity MP, Desmond Trotman should be removed from Parliament. The question was based on the on the report of the Linden Commission of Inquiry in which commissioners concluded that the events which took place on July 18, 2012 could have been avoided if influential Community persons such as Trotman had intervened and advised the protestors to display due respect for the law. The commission used Trotman's justification for the illegal acts whilst giving testimony as an example of the encouragement given to the lawlessness which took place.

Look at these nincompoops trying to blame everyone but the PPP Jackboots Police who were found guilty of murdering the protesters by the Commission of Inquiry.

With their reasoning, it's easy to understand why women are blamed for being victims of rape in India. It's not the rapist's fault since the women deserved to be raped because of the skirts which they were wearing. By the same token, protesters should not protest and should be gunned down in the streets by the PPP Jackboots Police. Their crime - guilty of protesting. Their deserved punishment - execution by the PPP Jackboots Police.

Then calling for the murder of opposition party members by their Phantom Death Squad. What a bunch of morons, these PPP sickos parading on this forum, disguised as humans.

Stupid man! Why don't the PPP arrest them if they are guilty of a crime? Or should they just call in the Phantom Squad and murder them like your fellow moron has suggested.

it's actually NOT that simple . . .

what we have on this thread is INCITEMENT TO MURDER 2 named member of parliament and 2 other named public officials in Guyana, coming on the heels on an exhortation to KILL ["lynch"]the Chairman of the AFC party, all made by a poster calling himself "rev" on GNI . . . death squads are REAL in Guyana, FYI

people are not fools . . . your weasel words notwithstanding

Amen Brother. The PNC Indians like redux are quick on their feet to defend criminal elements just like the AFC and PNC who voted down the crime bill in parliament.

The AFC and PNC have no shame whatsoever to speak of crime in Guyana since they stand on shaky ground and lack credibility Since voting down the crime bill supported by the USA.

Indeed the AFc/PNC bandits are responsible for the deaths of protesters and destruction in Linden and Agricola. Their agents shot their own people to push the protest into rioting.  Their evil hands are embedded in criminal activities as we see with the recent busts in the drug industry; cocaine in chowmein, cocaine in water coconut, cocaine ezjet carrier and the list goes on. When their cocaine ring was busted they started robbing ordinary citizens with their AFC/PNC criminal style fund raising campaign. Then they were involved in the gold smuggling. Wicked wicked people, the afc/pnc are.

I am not diverting from anything. I am simply stating all the facts that APNU & AFC are found guilty in their actions without any shame to accept responsibility.

Hahhaha, I was thinking the same about you afc/pnc creeps. You don't live or set foot in Guyana but yet you wish cockeye and the others to rule over the nation. In fact you will note that the Guyanese public elected the PPP over the afc/pnc coalition.
