I know that I retired as of Dec 2016, 

This is what I said in my previous post:"Today is the official date of full retirement according to SS. I can collect SS & still have a full-time job with NO PENALTY." 

At age 66 I can return to work; collect SS & full salary.
If you retire before your age of retirement, there's a penalty that will incur. So, now that I am 66 I can't return to work, with no penalty.

Therefore, I consider myself fully retired.

True. You don't get 100% of your earned pension.

Should read: "So, now that I am 66 I can return to work, with no penalty."
