Thank you, DG.   Happy Father's Day, guys. I'll go and call my 87-year Dad who's doing double duty to his 7 grown children. He's probably busy with his garden in Georgia. He keeps calling me to see how I'm coping with my Mom's loss when I should be consoling him for losing his partner.

Happy father's day to all fathers and to single parent mothers who are also fathers to their children.

I was introduced in a cathedral  before given a talk on social justice.  The bishop friend introduced me as Father Tola.  In a church  full of people we were having a personal discussion that I was not Father Tola, then he said 'You have children don't you, that makes you a father'..

I recently looked at  the last photograph  I took of my father in 1980. His eyes were glassy with emotions.

As I was leaving Albion to return to Canada, I said to him 'I will see you later Pa'. I became very emotional when he replied 'Me na think so bhai'.  I gave him the tightest hug and that was the last time saw him alive.
