Can anyone assist me with the recipe to make "sirney", the kind that you make with orange soda and salt butter? I know I have to parched the flour first, but do I have to parch it with butter together? I made it once before a few years ago. I have no one to guide me today. Thanks in advance!

Parch Butter and Flour until brown. Add soda, milk, spice, Essence, Raisins and hot water. Stir like there in no tomorrow.

Thanks Nehru, I was searching the entire web for the recipe and couldn't find it. It's my day off, so you know what's that mean. Cook, eat, sip red wine and hot sex all day.
Raymond, no eggs even though I am making sirney, the Muslim kind just to eat as dessert, nothing religious.

Bhai, it seem like men know the kitchen better than women these days. Like you get good practice.
