I like ovations. I have a cheap black applause that I bought many years ago in Toronto and a recent purchase of an Adamas. The combo 12/6 strings is fascinating. It has to be a heavy guitar given the internal reinforcement for all that tension. I am into jazz, blues and gypsy music and 12 strings dont do it for me. I need to get one. I had one and sold it.
I remember my first guitar. It was an original. Broadway cigarette box with some rubber bands. And to complete the band a couple of milk and milo cans.
Amral, nothing sweeter than knacking milo cans ans singing " Oh Manager Oh Manager cane ah cut and price nah pay at all" or 'Dharmat Karo Bhia Dharmat Karo"

The weather was a lot better than usual but quite disturbing. There's usually snow in Feb but I was there from Feb23 to Mar13, no snow, no rain, double digit weather most days...global warming tearin tail.

Are you serious that you can't find the money for that? If I was a guitar player $900 would be a bargain for the pleasure I would get out of that guitar. Try selling off some stuff on ebay to reduce the amount needed.

Banna where u hear me say that, I just prefer it being bought for me. I would have grabbed it but there's no way I'm taking a guitar on a plane. I'll look around T.O for one and probably sell one I don't use often. Dam, I could get rid of all my guitars after getting that.
I have a one year old 12 string Taylor guitar paid $2400 for it, wanna buy it for 2500 seeing it's been played by a 12 string God?
Cain, careful how you use de name God, because there might be fire and brimstone next time you visit Calgary. LOL. Did you see any consequence from unemployment, due to oil prices ? We are coasting well with our economy. But Northern BC is feeling it a bit, by being closer to Northern Alberta with services, that is no longer needed.
I am helping their economy by ordering a $2300. backpack camera, with accessories from The Camera Store in Calgary. Mr.T, I always felt a $5K Nikon was just right for something I enjoy doing.
Ball, count me in for $20.00 for Cain birthday guitar, but I have a feeling he might not use it for a guitar. Other things seems more instantly entertaining to his lungs. LOL
I know a couple there who were laid off and heard things are a tad slow. When I first arrived gas was just over 71 cents a litre a few weeks later it was at 90.

Malmsteen and Melissa Ethridge's played Adamas guitars.
So what does the hilted mean? hehe. I might actually get rid of the Martin, a buddy has been buggin me but I aint losing much on it. I would then look for a new one like the above.
Today I spoiled myself yessss. I walked into the shop and said "there is something you have that I have been craving for a while now" yesssss
I do have a Leica camera with a Leica zoom lens, so I I do know something about splashing the cash . But I also have to keep an eye on the university fees of my two youngest kids.
