Love this song Mits bhaiya
That is what dem boys does call Tipee music. Dunno where the word originated.
1983 my soulmate bought me this albumâĶI did not have a record player ( never owned one) and also, me being a country coolie who rarely listened to English songs except when my mother was not around, so obviously I had never even heard of ONJ.
He later bought me the Anne Murray album ( soon switched to cassette) with You Needed MeâĶnever played it and never heard it until we got it on cassette
in 1991 he made a cassette with selected songs and hand wrote the titles on a note pad page. To this day I have the cassette with the list. My eldest took the list and made a Spotify playlist for meâĶ.she titled it From Dad to momð
I still play cassettes. My ole Benz I recently got rid of had a cassette player but after getting rid of it I actually bought a small radio cassette player a couple years ago.
Cassettes work ok unless they are too large, most of mine are 30 mins per side. The 90 min ones especially are too heavy for the wheels and they get chewed up.

Wow..this is awesone!!
btw i had audio cassette too but i selected my songs so u can say it was âcustomizedâ
1 of my SIL had a sister who did this as a biz in Bourda market so i picked my songs on 90 mins cassettes. Also a gf from NA had a bf who worked at a record stores n i bought blank cassette n gave him my list ( i used to listen to American top 20 on TV on Saturdays in 1987-88 n i got the latest songs as well .
unfortunately these cassettes were stolen in Bdos as my hubby was in transit there n had to have his bags rechecked. He had no clue they were stolen until he arrived in Antigua (I was there 2 months before)
PS
now i listen to these songs on youtube.. soft rock from the 80âs
