OK Folks:

As John Gray said in "Men are from mars Women are from Venus", men and women are fundamentally different people.

The topic today is how men and women fall in love.

READ THIS:

"Women fall in love with what they hear; Men fall in love with what they see."

QUESTION:

Is that true or false ? Can you folks share your personal experience---did you use your ear or your eye when you met the man or woman of your dreams ?

Is your loyal and faithful wife aware of your obsession with some guy named Kwame ?

Good Jesus Lord!

I have seen you post the Kwame name dozens of times on this forum.

Anyway, by responding to you I guess I have given you permission to go in the gutter and be vulgar and boorish---that is your choice---the Rev will ignore whatever comments you make.

Rev

PS. Mitwah and PRK were suspended for vulgarity and boorishness in political---careful with your response warrior---no personal attacks---admin is watching----the forum must be kept clean.

"Women fall in love with what they hear. Men fall in love with what they see. That's why most women wear make up and why most men lie."

ha ha ha ha

What do you folks think ?

Rev

I think that quote is interesting and true

at least true for me, he certainly said the right things

OK!

So your ears heard all the right words and sweetness and poetry---and you fell deeply in love---typical woman.lol

Now, like you riya, the Rev also sees some truth in the quote.

The first time I laid eyes on the first lady---she was wearing a short denim skirt---and I said to myself----hmmmm! very nice.hahahahaha

Listen riya---it's true---men fall in love with what they see.lol

Let's see if the other men on this board will comment----guys on this board tend to be very shy discussing these "girlie" subjects.

Rev,

Mine was wearing a red pair of hot pants. I said 'Lord my eyes have seen salvation'. The rest is history.

Chami:

God bless his soul! Your husband is what every woman in the world would label a REAL MAN.

Now chami--every man on this planet falls in love with what he sees---the Rev saw a short denim skirt, Skeldon saw a rad hot pants.hahahaha

Now. What did your caring, loyal and loving husband  when he first laid eyes on you ---what made him fantasize about you until you agreed to be his first lady ?

This love thing is such a sensitive and complicated thing. I fell in love with quite a few girls before I got married. Some for the right, and some for the wrong reasons. Obviously these relationships did not worked out. But it show that we can love more than one person or can fall in love more than once.

We are cutting it so thin when we start talking about why/how we fall in love. Money, sex, loneliness, friendship, infatuation, admiration and a list of other things that seems infinite.

Fast forward - I think I saw some qualities in my wife that made me marry her. And I was not wrong, I would remarry her all over again if we had to re-do this marry thing.

I fell in love because it felt right and she treated me right. God bless this lady.

He got luckier he got me!

he said the above plus that he he hope to have me in his next life. Yeah.

Nice post above! I like when guys are not shy about expressing their true feelings about their first ladies.

RE: LOVE

You are right about the "love thing"----folks tend to pelt the word love around a lot---but the way the Rev sees it----in any relationship---the more you give---the more you get back---I think that's how the "love thing" works.

NOW DOGGIE!

Let's get to the juicy stuff.

BE HONEST---like skeldon_man above---what did you see when you first laid eyes on the first lady ? What was it about her that caused your testosterone level to spike ?hahahaha

doggie:

Here's the thing!

A woman's sexuality is like a wall nut---no matter how shy or bashful or introverted she may be---if she partners with a man whom she fully trusts and who encourages her to let go---then that wall nut is cracked---and out emerges a sexual dynamo---a sexually daring, passionate, enterprising, and adventurous woman.

THE PROBLEM IS MOST MEN ARE INTIMIDATED BY A SEXUALLY EXPRESSIVE WOMAN.

And so the  sexuality of their shy women remains hidden in that walnut---it is never encouraged to blossom.

DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT THE REV JUST SAID DOGGIE ?

Now. Did you play a role in cracking the walnut of those shy women in your life ? Or was their sexuality  locked tight in that walnut ?

You said you love your wife, right ?

Well, why do you love your wife ?

SIMPLE!

It's because you see the perfection in her despite all her imperfections.

THAT IS WHEN YOU KNOW THAT YOU GENUINELY LOVE A WOMAN.

You see the perfection in her despite all her imperfections.

Now prince---can you love 2 women at the same time---the same way you love your wife---seeing the perfection in her despite her imperfections  ?

THE ANSWER IS NO!

But if let's say your wife were to pass away---can you love another woman the way you loved your wife----ie see the perfection in her despite her imperfections ?

THE ANSWER IS YES!

Don't worry with all the nonsense you read that you can only love one woman in your life time.

POPPYCOCK!

If you move on from your current woman---you can love another woman---maybe even more deeply---you learn from your mistakes---and improve as you move on.

HOPE THE REV ENLIGHTENED YOU PRINCE.

Rev,

She always reminds me of looking at her from behind in her red hot pants. The pants were hot and so was she. She hasn't cooled off yet(LOL).

Skeldon It's very heartening to know that you and the lovely first lady have kept the flame burning brightly after decades together. Respect!
