A nationwide discount clothing chain is under fire for producing 'sexist' label washing instructions.

On a pair of beige chinos sold by Madhouse, the printed label states the standard washing instructions, but is then followed by 'Or give it to your woman.'

The trousers which sparked the fury were purchased in London at Madhouse’s flagship Oxford Street store last month.

I don't know about Sunil.....but I wonder how many of the men on here would admit to such a thing

and if they do the laundry and maybe even enjoy it.....why not admit it?

is men doing/helping out with the household chores still such a taboo as it was in guyana?

There are lazy men everywhere

Riya.....kudos to your dad

i remember in village, back in my growing up days.....any man who was seen washing and hanging out the clothes.....were called anti-man

i remember one of my BILs used to help my sis with the laundry....but only at night when no one could see him.

my hubby does all of the laundry at my house.....the only houseword that he actually enjoys doing

i do the sorting into the different loads.....and he do the rest, he even fold and put away!

I do all the laundry. Fold and put away. Also all the ironing. I sweep and dust the floor and furniture. I do the grocery shopping and the put out the garbage. I help the kids with their school homework and other school activities. And I enjoy doing all of it. Now what the hell does that make me?

While I do the dishes, I don’t do any cooking because even I would not enjoy eating.

Way to go Ksazma!!

my hubby always help too....except with the cooking

but even then....he will cut up veggies, peel potatoes, prepare the onion and garlic.....he just won't 'face the stove'.
