By now we all know that texting and driving is dangerous business — heck, even texting while walking has its pitfalls. But don't take our word for it: One 21-year-old Texas driver wound up typing out how dangerous it is to text while driving... right before crashing his truck into a ravine. Chance Bothe was making a 30-mile drive back to his hometown of Ganado when the accident occurred. During the trip, he was having an argument with his friend via text message. Mere moments before crashing his pickup, Bothe texted, "I need to quit texting, because I could die in a car accident." Bothe survived the incident, but not without injury. All told, he suffered an ankle fracture, a punctured lung, facial fractures, and a "severe skull fracture."
