The latest incident of Police torture along with the previous instances and a seeming reluctance by the Police to lay charges against one of their colleagues in the matter of an alleged shooting of a 15 year old, has once again raised the question of whether or not elements in the Guyana Police Force are working along with forces aligned to the political opposition to create the conditions for a removal of the democratically elected PPP/C government by means other than an election. What's your take?

What does CONTEMPORARY police torture have to do with the opposition? Its the PPP who have oversight over the police through the Ministry of Home Affairs.
