PNC are scared shyte of Jagdeo. He meant business when he said that Granger and his cabal will not be able to rig the election or take office.

He is a bad ass Kuile. Jagan could have just rolled over. PNC shyte their pants as soon as Jagdeo raised his voice on them.

Guyanese should push for a National Holiday designated: Lord Jagdeo Day.

I totally agree with your first statement.

Regarding your second one, no one should lose sleep when criminals are neutralized. The crime spree of about 15 years ago required some innovative approach and thankfully that crime spree came to an end. One should focus more on the loss of innocent lives at the hands of these criminals instead of the eventual elimination of the criminals.

The fear that many Indians  feel in Guyana is not only from bandits with weapons, but the action of others placed in positions of authority, with the present government. The fear was so great in one area, that some regional officials were replaced by the Ramotar administration, or they might be at risk with  personal safety, by locals.

Many of the replaced officials are back in the present government and the fear has returned. So it is critical, if the Ali/Jagdeo government is concerned about their voters, they immediately need to implement programs to improve the life style for ordinary citizens and establish an atmosphere of trust.

That withstanding the voters still cast their votes in 2020 more for the PPP than any other party even though the Coalition spent the entire elections campaign season trying to paint the PPP as not trusting and dangerous instead of pointing out to the voters how they can make their lives better in the next 5 years than they did in the 5 years after the 2015 elections.

That's a big 'IF'. They are going to implement programs to improve the lives of all Guyanese and create an atmosphere of trust. I posted this already.  They have to do it in Parliament when it resumes. You don't what Indians fear, but I can tell you. They are afraid of the PNC government and what they are capable of doing.  That's why they got rid of them. You still don't get it and probably never will.
