The trailer is made the way the trailer of a thriller should be made. Short scenes edited and mixed with other key screen moments. Sharp lines thrown in between.  Key questions asked through interactions between characters which are actually aimed at increasing audience involvement and they work beautifully towards that aim.

A background score which keeps hitting higher notes and adds to the growing intensity of the trailer every minute. Vidya Baln remains a power house actress and despite all these years and such phenomenal work behind her totally owns the trailer. Scenes where she is just sitting and throwing a smile at the camera actually make you think what move is she planning now? Is she this innocent looking doting mother or is she the kidnapper and killer that one inspector tells the investigating cop – Durga Rani Singh.

And I keep coming back to the questions asked through the cop the most compelling one of course – koi apni diary main jhoonth kyun likhega?

If the final product is half as good then Sujoy Ghosh has a box office smasher in hands.

Right now I am thinking why do they release such polished trailers for such movies so early the wait becomes actually agonizing. Dear Team Kahani 2 , I doff my hat to this trailer ! ridden by awe right now for lack of better word I must say what a super duper trailer !
