Apparently the makers were very keen on taking Vidya Balan in the film but the actress was not too happy with the role. But how we wish that she should have opted for this role because we are sure she would have nailed it with her effortless performance. Paa and Humari Adhuri Kahani prove that she can bring the perfect drama into a film.

2. Rani Mukerji:

Bengali beauty Rani Mukerji is another perfect actress for that role. She is known for carrying deglam roles with absolute perfection. Talaash is the perfect film that shows Rani’s capability in carrying such serious roles.

3. Kajol

Be it comedy or a serious film, the talented Diva can make any character look real. We think her expressive eyes could have perfectly expressed the misery of that character. And yes! Another reason to take Kajol is that we want to see the reel life couple onscreen again.

4. Juhi Chawla

Juhi Chawla could also have been perfect for that role. In some light elements of the film we feel that Juhi could have added fun to that character of Ajay Devgn’s wife.

5. Sridevi

Though Sridevi is elder to Ajay Devgn in real life we are sure the two would have complimented each other in Drishyam. Also Sridevi could have essayed the role with great ease and aplomb.

We feel that these actresses could have done more justice to this character. But we also feel that had any of these actresses been cast in the film then the makers should have made efforts to make their character more strong and praiseworthy.
