Pretty much on the money............ We gotta stop on this Kidd wife-beating think though

Tyson Chandler should concentrate on not being outplayed by Hibbard

Kidd is a smart polayer but an arrogant dude. When he loses, he loses his temper. One slip the wifey make and she she gets hammered.

Sorry dudes. Lick your wounds. Come again next year.

Knicks gonna blow up this team. Out with the old and in with the youth. I see Camby, Kidd, Prigioni, Martin gone. JR might be a holdover if his price is right. And it will be. Why? Because of the way he performed this post-season. No one else in the NBA will sign him. One trick pony, Novak - Gone too.

The 4-5 people I see staying is Melo (franchise player), Amare and Chandler ( no one gonna pay them broken down players what they are presently earning so the Knicks are stuck with them), Felton and possibly Copeland. Shumpert is on the fence.

there are always moves that can be made...buyouts etc

Hopefully they buy out or amnesty Mare'. He has not earned his pay these past three years. Want to know how much money the Knicks wasted on Mare'? Consider that his salary is one and a half times what LeBron's is. The Knicks can only be my second favorite basketball team.

This (from the ESPN article of your link Ray), is most apt about the Knicks season:

The Knicks? Their roster, the league's oldest, collapsed around Anthony, stranded him against an Indiana team that placed all five starters in double figures Saturday night, including Brooklyn's Lance Stephenson of Lincoln High, who treated the Knicks as if they were some overmatched opponent at the bottom of the Public Schools Athletic League.

Glen Grunwald, GM, and Mike Woodson, coach, gambled and lost, simple as that. They're locked in to Marcus Camby, Jason Kidd and Stoudemire for another two years, and Steve Novak for another three. Tyson Chandler's value plummeted as he vanished in this series, and Raymond Felton delivered an 0-for-7 no-show at the worst possible time.

J.R. Smith is a free agent, and he said he wants to retire a Knick, but investing big money in him is investing in a lost cause. Smith proved again in Game 6 that he's a fourth option on a true championship contender, nothing more.

The one thing that Miami will face with the Pacers that they didn't with Milwaukee and Chicago is that man in the middle neutralizing the strengths of DWade and LeBron driving to the basket - Roy Hibbard. The Heat did not need to neutralize the Bulls bigs of Boozer and Joakim Noah because the Bulls didn't have the necessary offensive power with Deng and Hinricjh out

Another thing the Heat didn't get challenged much was offensive rebounding, though the Bulls did provide some.

The Bulls series would be a good indicator, but a difference here is that the Pacers have scorers and 2nd chance put-backs a lot. The Pacers though have not seen a swarming defense like Miami and we've seen them fall apart without George Hill in the Knicks Game 5. The Pacers will be without the injured All-Star Danny Granger for the Heat series, so chalk one up for another help to Miami, which seem to have all its players healthy (note - Rose, Westbrook, Kobe and Granger have not been able to play for their teams so far in the playoffs). Miami in 6

I think the Heat will sweep the Pacers...Hibbert is not as good as the Knicks made him out to be...Chandler just was not up to par, big dissappointment

Pacers not going to outrebound the Heat, Heat would capitalize on those Pacers turnovers...

Pacers is just not a good matchup for the HEat....I'll be happy if I am wrong

The Pacers bigs are not as fast or good as the Heat's big men on the perimeter. And if Hibbert thinks he can keep his hands straight up then it might be his letdown. Bosh and Andersen are both too fast fore him. And both can shoot from 17-20 feet. Bosh is even comfortable from beyond the arc. Hibbert will look like a fool. Easy to get into foul trouble with the Heat. And now that the Heat can go inside and throw the ball back out, you'll see a very tired Pacers team. I see a sweep.
