Read early this morning that he tore his achilles. He was venting on Facebook. Looks like his career is over. This will take a year to heal. At 36 his comeback might not be the best thing. His rocking chair awaits on the front porch.

It is very unfortunate that Kobe at this stage of his career having putthat many miles on his career is placed in a position to carry that team alone. Howard should be ashamed of himself for being so absent this year. Thankfully Reiley did not pay attention to all those noises suggesting we trade Wade for Howard. That would have been a mistake considering Wade played through pain that required they stick a 3" needle in his knee to drain out fluid. Feel how you do about Kobe but he doesn't become the NBA's fourth leading scorer without good work habits.
