technically speaking you were not born in the Amazon river basin or rainforest/jungle. Only the southern highlands drained by the Irene constitute the amazonian basin. Ecologically speaking there is  very little difference since the flora and fauna intersect.

i AM NOT SURPRISE.

You should not. You are a flatlander, distinguishable by wide feet to prevent you sinking in the mud and glazed dead fish eyes wrought of intellectual laziness. Add to that lack of any physical dexterity since you never had to hone your innate human survival skills in contending with raw nature and possibly cannot stand in a balahoo without falling over and breaking your scrawny pika legs.

most Guyanese singers are faux Jamaican or west coast gangsta lite with all the stupid bragging about being bad assed. I detest the fake accent. I like Tamika Marshall her music has authenticity.

Rappers brag that's just what they do. As for the faux Jamaican that depends on the artist. People can say Adrian Dutchen is trying to sound like a Trini too, but it's the style of music. And when you want to compete in a reggae market you have to have a Jamaican twang to you speech. Gentleman is German, and he sings with a Jamaican twang and he is great. Some styles of music you can't escape sounding like someone else at times. I still like some of the Guyanese artist. I like Mystic, I hope Brutal Tracks does some more work with him.

Is he the guy almost completely covered in tattoos? If so, no I don't like his music. But - I don't agree with that generalization of most Guyanese singers being fake. The Mash competitions were great - very original.

Anyway, the singer that I find most amusing is that girl who I believe used to sing with the Yoruba Singers and I know she used to sing at Side Walk. For the life of me I don't remember her name but I think she was judging maybe the GT&T singing competition the other day???? Help!!! Her mannerisms are so distracting, I never hear her voice.

I'm doing very well Dougan. Hope you are too.

I don't think Yoruba singers are still active as a group but I saw that girl on tv when I was home a few weeks ago. She was hilarious!

I prefer Rubber Waist to Dutchin!
