Dramatic rescue! A member of a crew putting down utility poles near Conversation Tree in Georgetown yesterday was strapped to this piece of equipment and lowered to just above the canal to retrieve a hammer that had fallen in. The hammer was eventually retrieved.

What question comes to mind?

1) Guyanese have much time on hand?

2) Guyanese are too laid back when they work?

3) Guyanese are playing around and get paid?

4) Was all of that necessary to find a lost hammer?

5) No supervisor: Supervisor don't care?

6) It's the reason why nothing get done in eight hours?

7) They are not getting paid enough to do an honest day work?
