Biography: This Nepali beauty started her career in tinsel town by starring in commercials before Subhas Ghai noticed her. He gave Mahima her first big break in the movie Pardes where she was cast opposite the King Khan of Bollywood Shah Rukh. The movie was a success at the box office and the music was remarkable. She was then signed on for a number of movies such as Daag: The Fire (1999), Pyaar Koi Khel Nahin (1999), Dhadkan (2000), Deewane, Lajja , Yeh Teraa Ghar Yeh Meraa Ghar (2001), Om Jai Jagadish, Dil Hai Tumhaara, Dobara, The Film, Zameer: The Fire Within, Film Star, Home Delivery: Aapko... Ghar Tak (2005) and Souten: The Other Woman (2006). She is currently working on the thriller, MumBhai - The Gangsters, co-starring Om Puri and Sanjay Kapoor.
