Mentally challenged woman abducted and used as sex slave

A mother is pleading for more police intervention into the alleged abduction and gang rape of her 23-year-old daughter.
The 23- year- old, who is mentally challenged, was used as a sex slave while being held against her will for five days.
The mother said that her child is constantly reminded of the horrible day after her attackers inked a tattoo of a penis, surrounded by degrading remarks, on her lower back.
The woman said that her daughter has been suffering from a slight mental irregularity from an early age.
As a result of this, she said, her daughter would normally be accompanied by another family member when going out.
But on January 6 last, she allowed her daughter to go pay the electricity bill and she was not seen again until five days later.
According to the woman, her daughter claimed that on the day of the incident, she saw a young man who is known to the family and he proceeded to walk with her.
Minutes later a minibus pulled up alongside her and two men pulled the young lady into the vehicle, while the man who was walking with her joined in.
The woman told Kaieteur News that her daughter was taken to a building on Meadow Brook Drive where she was locked inside.
The woman claimed that while there, her daughter was stripped and beaten.
She was also cuffed repeatedly to the face which caused it to swell, causing her to be unable to eat anything solid. Apart from that she said the girl was also beaten with a wire which left numerous marks about her body.
That, she said, was only the beginning of the girl’s dilemma.
The girl told her mother that for the next five days, she was repeatedly raped by several men.
She related that her attackers even performed anal sex on her while they turned off the lights and blindfolded her.
She said that she saw three of her perpetrators’ face, and one who was the leader, took payment for other persons to commit the horrible act against the girl.
“Come ya’ll pass ya’ll money. Who next? You next?” the girl said she could recall the man saying as he traded her body for the cash.
The mother said the men fed her daughter during the period, and later found it amusing to tattoo a huge penis right above the woman’s buttocks that pointed downwards suggesting some nasty intentions.
When the image was shown to this publication, the graphic image was too degrading to print. Around the tattooed image were sentences such as: “it was the best in the world.” The men even inked their nick names around the tattoo.
Having had enough of the young woman, they took her to the City Mall on Regent Street where she was released. But the mother said her daughter was almost carried away again after a conductor of a minibus that operated the route to their home saw the woman at the mall and sought to take her away to the Gardens area.
She said a family member had seen what had happened and the police were directed to the area where the conductor was arrested.
Her daughter, she said, was finally in her arms after the police rescued her. She said she took her child to the hospital where she received treatment.
The mother said that despite numerous visits to the police station, the culprits could not be picked up. The concerned mother said her daughter had taken them back to the place where she was taken, and she was disappointed to know that after getting a hint that he was wanted by the police, the male resident has since packed up and vacated his residence.
No one has since been arrested in connection with the abduction and rape, while the bus conductor who was held has since been released. The woman’s mother said it is disgusting to imagine what has happened to her daughter. She said the fear she felt for her daughter has now increased since the incident and it is heart rending to know that these animals have taken her daughter’s virginity.
