The other day, I read the article (Puranas) posted by Mitwah. For sometime, Hindus been seying Christ is the same individual as Krsna. The forgiveness of sin is similar in attributes. It got my interests. I am searching if there might a connection.

Of course there is a connection!

The sage Deva Bodhisatoua wrote an account of Khrishna also spelled Chrishna. The Roman philosopher Apollonius of Tyana traveled to Singapore and translated the story in Samarian. Marcion brought it to Rome and translated it into Greek and Latin.

Krishna's attributes were used to embellish Jesus' character in the New Testament by the priests.
One example: in the Hari-Purana, Khrishna raised a young girl from the dead, Kalavatti daughter of Angashuna. Krishna, said, "why do you weep? She is sleeping. Rise and walk!"
This was copied verbatim in the incident of Jesus raising Jairus's daughter from the dead.

Merry Christmas All!

Christmas has become an international celebration that no longer has a religious significance. When you see Muslims, Hindus and athiests like d2 wishing people merry christmas, you know its all a sham. Look on tv you will see all the commercials about christmas never shows any religious aspects. They show snow, christmas tree(has nothing to do with christmas) and presents. In effect, the Christ has been effectively taken out of Christmas.

This is how the Muslims in Iraq wish Christians a Merry Christmas:

37 killed in Baghdad bomb blasts amid 'deliberate and senseless' targeting of Christians

The U.S. Embassy in Iraq condemned the "deliberate and senseless" targeting of Christians after three bombs killed 37 people in Baghdad on Wednesday.

At least 26 people died and 38 were injured after a bomb went off near a church in the capital's southern neighborhood of Dora, a police officer told The Associated Press.

Earlier Wednesday two bombs went off in a market in the Christian area of Athorien, killing 11 and wounding 21, the officer said.

An embassy statement said: "The United States Embassy condemns in the strongest terms today's attacks in the Dora area of Baghdad that targeted Christians celebrating Christmas.

"The Christian community in Iraq has suffered deliberate and senseless targeting by terrorists for many years, as have many other innocent Iraqis.

"We extend condolences to the victims and their families and wish a rapid recovery for those who were injured."

The bomb in Dora went off after Christian Mass but none of the worshipers were hurt, according to Iraq-based leader of the Chaldean Catholic Church, Louis Sako. He told the AP he did not think the church was the target.

No one immediately claimed responsibility for the attacks. According to the AP, Iraq's dwindling Christian community, estimated to number about 400,000 to 600,000 people, has often been targeted by al Qaeda and other insurgents who see the Christians as unbelievers.

A medical official confirmed the casualty figures. Both officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to talk to the media.

Wednesday's bombings came amid a massive military operation in Iraq's western desert as authorities try to hunt down insurgents who have stepped up attacks across Iraq in the past months, sending violence to levels not seen since 2008.

The Christmas Day attacks brought the total number of people killed so far this month in Iraq to 441. According to U.N. estimates, more than 8,000 people have been killed since the start of the year.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.

Interesting.

In the Book of Enoch, he wrote of having a conversation with the Son of Man. And he also wrote that the Son of Man was in the bossom of the Father. In my younger years, I have seen a picture(photo) of a Hindu god that ripped open the chest and show a diety. I am wondering now, if that was Krsna.

Enoch was the seventh from Adam, who journeyed to Heaven and witnessed many things and met with the ancient sages. Instructed to hand over his writings to the generations. His son Methuselah the oldest man that ever lived was charged with that task. It is no wonder he lived that long.

I want to believe that the common language at the time at the Plains of Shinar was Sanskrit.
