Anyone seen any good flicks recently, if so how was it?
Watched 'Happy New Year' recently with hubby. It started off slow, but picked up nicely. Hats off to Shahrukh Khan!! Did not get to see 'Bang Bang'.

How was the LEGO movie? Watched 'Ouija' - not scary at all. 
I saw "Happy Endings" at the South Asian International Film Festival last week in Manhattan and it has opened in New York and elsewhere for general release since Friday.
I was pleasantly surprised at this romantic comedy. The lines were un-Bollywood-like, smart and humorous. Saif Ali Khan was masterful in this role as was the leading lady Illeana D'Cruz. The supporting cast was good as well. Wife Kareena made a cameo appearance and Preinty Zinta had a litlle extended role.
Filmed largely in California - great scenic vistas - you would think this was a Hollywood movie. Go see it.

I love a good comedy, saw Ileana once she is a great newcomer...and of course Saif is always on top of his game.

Anyone seen 'Two guns' with Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg? It was a great action/suspense.
'The interview' is next on my list...can't wait.
