2. Sanjay Dutt’s winning speech!

All eyes were on Sanju Baba as he made one of his first big appearances at the awards with his wife Manyata. He entered and received a warm applause from the audience and straight away went to hug the Bachchans who were sitting right in front. After all the emotional moments and bear hugs, Sanju Baba won his award and all he had to say was, ‘It’s good to be back!”

3. Varun and Sidharth bonded again!

While Karan Johar hosted the show and couldn’t stop beaming seeing his prodigies Alia, Sidharth and Varun in attendance (all looking dapper), the duo shared a warm hug and had lots to catch up. Both Sid and Varun were dressed in white. While Sid was all suited up, Varun literally came out from home in his casual wear. Though Alia sat in between them, but the two hot dudes did not include her in their conversation. Perhaps they were having their ‘bromance’ time! Way to go we’d say!

4. SRK owns 45 pieces of God knows how many things, but only 4 pairs of blue jeans.

Mind you, he has a fetish for shoes, which he loves to flaunt! He revealed that his favourite colour is black and his daughter Suhana tells him that he looks the same all the time, like he used to do five years ago. King Khan received his award from Big B and he confessed that it seems foolish to think that he’s winning for style when there’s Amitabh Bachchan on the stage. Well come on SRK! Don’t be so modest!

5. Karan Johar takes a fun dig at Kanika Kapoor in the presence of Shabana Azmi

Kanika Kapoor was on stage to take away her trophy and K Jo made sure she sang her super hit song Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan (what we actually think is a beggar’s anthem LOL). He poked her saying she didn’t sing Baby Doll because she’s scared that Shabana Ji (who recently was in news for criticizing item song Fevicol) is in the audience.

6. Ranbir Kapoor gives a miss to the awards

Because Katrina was in attendance? We don’t know!

7. KSG and Jennifer Winger under one roof

Yes, you read that right! The ex-couple who were once adored for their sizzling chemistry on TV, were amongst the only ones who did not give a damn to each other’s presence and maintained their cool to attend the same award show. Isn’t that awesome?

8. Malaika Arora’s cameo at the awards

She walked in beauty like the night and vanished. Yes, Malaika Arora Khan presented an award and she left as quickly as you can never imagine. If you know what we mean! And K Jo who is always particular in announcing names and titles properly, was noted saying Malaika Arora (sans her Khan surname post wedding). Is that a confirmation or K Jo genuinely forgot?

9. Dharmendra calls Big B his Gudda

How cute is that! He also gave a special mention to Amitabh Bachchan for hoisting our national flag with great zeal and energy as good as a youngster!

10. Last, but NOT the least! Ranveer Singh kills it with Red on Red Carpet!

It takes guts to walk the red carpet when you’re wearing red and still own the event! Ranveer Singh walked in with his ultimate charm and infectious energy, perhaps the only man who hovered around the ball room and met everyone. He was also spotted carrying a pillow which had his face printed on it! Then he went over in slow motion to receive his award from his favourite Anil Kapoor and posed for the shutterbugs! He was the last one to leave the show and the most entertaining man like always! PS: His favourite style icon is Lady Gaga and she better feel blessed about it.
