The two Heat players with suspect knees have a leg up (no pun intended) on the competition after the two games in Indiana. Birdman looks good in both scoring and rebounding, energy and hustle as Bosh's backup. And Dwade's impact - no, not on Boy George's head, or maybe in his head - but on the game is worth something. Classy as usual, Dwade continues to show why he is a certain hall of famer and a champion. I'm just looking to see championship resilience from the Pacers on Saturday. Their maturity will be tested. It's not difficult to figure Miami's defensive intensity - that is where this series ill be won BTW. Get deep post position to prevent the double-team and to curtail rotating double team after it is passed out of the post. I believe that George will be cleared to ply - he only has to be concussion-free for 24 hours prior to the game.

I am a Heat fan so naturally I am looking for the three-peat. I don't mind seeing competitive basketball as long as we win.

That was an awesome destruction by the Heat last night. LeBron is approaching the assassin character of MJ.

We must keep things in perspective though. That Pacers team, unlike what Ii thought in the earlier part of the season, has a low Basketball IQ. That said though I have to admire LeBron's ruthlessness. At half-time he told the reporter that he was disappointed with the Heat's first-half effort - and they had just embarrassed the Pacers! He then said they have another level to go. Awesome, but the Heat should not delude themselves into thinking the Spurs (whom I expect to get past the Thunder) to be a team like the Pacers. With Pops and that high basketball IQ, they should finish off what they should have last year.

No doubt the Pacers became mostly fluff at the end of the season. Something happened in that organization that threw them off-track by the end. Certainly we have the best player in the NBA and during the season, people wanted to write us off because we did not impose our will on the league. We lost more than 20 of our 28 losses to sub 500 teams. And that is where the genius of Spoelstra comes in. He was content with forfeiting the #1 seed if it means he can save DWade for the end. And DWade has been playing some of his best basketball this post season. Interestingly Spoelstra does not get recognized for his coaching. Only last night the guys on ESPN were alluding that it is Riley completely by-passing Spo.

Coming to the Finals, both OKC and SA are extremely strong teams. SA more so because they can come at you from all sides. OKC has two deadly options but unfortunately that is mostly what they have. But one cannot dismiss them because on many occasions, those two options have been more than enough. But while both SA and OKC are worthy contesters of the Larry Obrien trophy, so is the Heat. I still believe that the only team that can beat the Heat is the Heat. They have much more tools than the other two teams and if they use them properly, they should raise that trophy again. If they don't there will be a new champion this year. Let the games begin and GO HEAT!!!!!!

Nah, actually it's a healthy respect for the two best and smartest teams and coaches. LeBron clearly is on a different planet, but he is only one of 5. As far as I know. 5 on 5 can be quite fun.

Bai, that one on five formula ended in the Heat Nets series. The Heat Pacers series showed five Heat players against the Pacers. I can't say the Pacers had five because sometimes it seem that they were all on their own doing whatever they want. Well not really five Heat for game five since the Refs took LBJ out of the game.

LeBron said that he will be ready. Hopefully the rest of the Heat team will be also.

WHen the Heat played their big guns plenty minutes in the 3rd quarter of Game 1, the thought crossed my mind that they could have problems in the 4th quarter with the heat...SPurs big guys did not play much in the 3rd qtr...but a coach does not prepare for no AC
