So why Guyanese are remaining in these little islands, where they fled to under the PPP.

During 2002-2012 the Guyana population DECLINED, even as fewer migrated to North America, due to more stringent immigration requirements.

They crowded these tiny islands.  Many of these were PPP supporters!

The fact that the population in 2012 was less than it was in 2002, suggests that even the economic depression of 2008-2011, which crushed those islands, didn't force Guyanese to return.

I suggest that literacy is something which escapes PPP supporters.

They did not say that there was no corruption.  They said that there was insufficient EVIDENCE.

If the records were so corrupted that evidence couldn't be found, then it merely suggests that specific actions, by specific people couldn't be uncovered.

What the audits did reveal is that there was incompetence.

The bar to charge people for white collar crimes is higher than it is for blue collar crimes.  There was widespread malfeasance in the USA, arising from the mortgage scandals.  Very few people were brought up for trial.  We all know that much was done that was wrong in that era.

Ditto for the PPP.

It looks more like the thieves are within the coalition. The treasury was overflowing, that's the reason for the 50% pay hike, even before working. The PNC since took office did two things .one, preparing for Jubilee and two, witch hunting looking for what the PPP stole, which is NOTHING,Where are the jobs they promised, crime is sky high, WHY??. You are correct, Granger was rather measured as he also knew his boys want in on the action.

The katahar crew was shut out by the PPP boys as there was just not enough space for all.  They hope with the new sheriff in town, that would be their chance to become the new 1%er and benefit from their connections with the PNC.  It must be a bit troubling the Harmon seem to be embracing the PPP "oligarch" crew!!

Sorry, I hit the wrong thread, was intended for the other thread on the promotion of the crime chief. 

So should the coalition be asked to return the money to the Treasury since it was a waste and now it's a financial burden to the Guyanese taxpayers?  There has to be some sort of penalty somewhere for this.  Come on there has to be a God!

The PPP seems to have done a good job in hoarding way the wealth of the country without leaving evidence behind. The books were a mess. Granger is playing a patient game I think.
