Aaj Se Teri, the first song from Akshay Kumar’s Padman is out now. The romantic song was launched on Wednesday, throwing light on the bitter-sweet romance between Lakshmikanth with his wife Gayatri. Akshay Kumar is playing the role of Lakshmikanth while Radhika Apte has stepped into the shoes of Gayatri. Akshay can be seen as a doting husband in the music video and is having all the qualities a woman wants in her husband.

The song has been composed by Amit Trivedi and voiced by the melody king Arijit Singh. The song begins with Akshay and Radhika’s wedding and the duo looks head over heels with each other. Akshay Kumar is that perfect husband who knows how to please his woman. He is mindful towards his small needs and is perturbed even if she sheds a tear.

Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film Padman is based on a strong social message about menstrual taboos. The film sends out an important message on menstrual health, which is still not much discussed i our country. However, director R Balki refused to describe Padman as a social message based film. He finds the life of Arunachalam Muruganantham, the man who inspired Padman, quite entertaining. Padman is scheduled to release on January 26, 2018. It will be facing a clash with Neeraj Pandey’s Aiyaary which features Sidharth Malhotra, Manoj Bajpayee, Anupam Kher and Naseeruddin Shah in pivotal roles.
