Guess what, it is the usual Big Talk from the PNC with Moses and Rumjattan Piggybacking on Granger's coat tail.

The opposition is a bunch of losers. Guyanese will not heed their call, only a small PNC faction may show up.

Ha Ha !

Of course the PPP failed Shawn Hinds and Odinga could not infiltrate the peaceful rally.

The rally was a complete failure.

The opposition has no other choice but to crawl on their knees and head to the office of the President.

Failing to do so will result in General Elections.

Rammo taught the fools in the opposition a lesson.

Pictures and the audio tape doan lie Anil seh PPP is 99% low breed morons.

The crowd is 99% black and so can be interpreted as merely evidence of our continued racial tensions which manifests itself politically.  The PPP knows that they will not get black votes, and in fact attempts to get Indian and Amerindian votes by engaging in the demonization of Afro Guyanese.

The PPP will go to sleep at night knowing that none of the people at the protest are going to vote for them any way.

So where are the Indians? It would have been a crowd consisting 30% of Indians (consistent with the population of G/town) which would have disturbed the PPP.  You may wish to avoid this fact but it reflects poorly on the AFC.  APNU is using this issue to mobilize its base.  Apparently the AFC has no base to mobilize!

The Indians were afraid to attend. If there was a riot, the Indians would have faced the wrath of the PNC supporters. They were smart not to be seen there.

Let us give Carib credit for exposing the AFC for not being able to mobilize Indos to protest in GT.

Let us also give Granger credit for not allowing violence like Burnham and Hoyte.

It is a known fact that the PPP base is now rock solid and the AFC is headed to that the political graveyard. The AFC can only talk but talk is cheap.

Carib stands by his beliefs and calls a spade a spade. I don't criticise the man for his political beliefs. He will even take on some of the PNC supporters.

THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG WITH BLACK GUYANESE BEING LOYAL TO THE PNC

* And let's all commend those PNC supporters for being peaceful.

* BUT WHAT ABOUT MOSES & KHEMRAJ ?

* They boycotted the rally. You know why ?

* MOSES AND KHEMRAJ ARE 2 RACISTS. THEY HATE BLACK PEOPLE.

* Shame on those 2 racist clowns for boycotting a peaceful rally because most of the attendees were blacks.

AFC had a base earlier which has dwindled to give them perhaps about two seats in the next parliament.

Repeat a lie often enough and after a while even you believe it.  The MONC would have led to elections.  Proroguing parliament delayed that.

So who is afraid of elections.  Apparently not APNU nor the AFC.

Indeed since Monday it is Ramotar who seems to be having to explain himself, virtually begging the opposition to come back.

Here is the deal.  APNU will not do anything without the AFC, because he doesn't want the more militant faction of the PNC to think that he is caving in to the PPP.  We know what happened to Corbin.

The PPP will not negotiate with the AFC as they see them as a threat. With APNU they will pretend to as the PPP knows that it cannot get black votes just as it knows that the PNC will not get Indian votes.  It is the AFC which upsets that apple cart with its potential for collecting protest votes from PPP supporters, upset at the direction that their party has taken.

But the APNU comes together with the AFC.  A 2 for 1 deal!

The AFC is seen as a neutral party so collects the protest vote. As of now the angriest people are the PPP supporters and so the AFC seems well poised to pick up that.

All that matters is what happens on election day and if the AFC picks up enough PPP votes and if APNU gets its base registered and voting then Donald Ramotar will be leader of the opposition, and Nigel Hughes will start battling Granger.

2,500 Protest Peacefully...

The crowd signaled their agreement, with load cheers and applause, whenever speakers hinted that “Donald Ramotar must go.”

Chairman of the AFC, Nigel Hughes addresses the crowd.

Chairman of the AFC,

Nigel Hughes addresses the crowd.

Also joining the APNU was the minority opposition Party – the Alliance for Change (AFC).

The Party’s Chairman, Nigel Hughes submitted that the President has changed this Republic into a kingdom; urging those gathered that it was a situation to take very seriously and not joke about.

“We must be serious lest we walk backward into colonialism,” he said; adding that “this is an unprecedented move that has thrown the country into deep waters and a political crisis.”

According to Hughes, Former President and PPP Leader, the late Dr. Cheddi Jagan must be “turning in his grave” to see the anti-democratic stance Ramotar has taken.

Hughes maintained that there will be no extra parliamentary engagement with the President during this period even as he drew attention to the Party’s intention to lobby international Bodies to have the President reverse his decision and reconvene Parliament.

He plugged too for constitutional reform; pointing out that the President has used constitutional provisions to embark on his dictatorial path.
