I just read the sad news that old-time Indian film actor Pran died two days ago at age 93 and was cremated yesterday. In my youth in the 1960s-70s I liked his acting, particularly in the movie "Upkaar." I'm posting these photos in Social hoping more people will view them.

Wally, what those old women in Guyana didn't recognize was that without a villain a movie lacked excitement, tension, suspense, thrills, etc. But Pran played the villain's role only during the first half of his acting career. Starting from Manoj Kumar's UPKAAR until he retired, Pran played positive supporting roles chiefly.
