Biography
Priyanka Chopra is an Indian Actress and former Miss World born in 18 July 1982 at Jamshedpur, Jharkhand.

Priyanka was born to Ashok Chopra and Madhu Akhauri who are physicians. She have a younger brother. She spent her childhood in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh; Newton, Massachusetts; and Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She studied in La Martiniere Girls' School in Lucknow. Then she relocated to U.S. where she studied in Newton South High School in Newton, Massachusetts and then in John F. Kennedy High School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Then she returned to India and finished her high school at Army School in Bareilly. She joined Jain Hind College in Mumbai to complete her college, but left after winning the Miss World Pageant.

Priyanka came in second place at Femina Miss India in 2000, then she was sent to Miss World where she won Miss World 2000. She was the fifth indian women to win the title and the fourth Indian woman to win in seven years span.

Career

Priyanka made her debut in 2002 from a Tamil film Thamizhan. Then in 2003 she came into Bollywood. She did starred in film The Hero: Love Story of a Spy. It was the highest grossing film of the year. Then she appeared in film Andaaz which was success in box office. She earned her Filmfare Best Female Debut Award and a nomination for Filmfare Best Supporting Actress Award.

Then in 2004 she came in films like Plan, Kismat and Asambhav which didnt made on box office. Later that year she came in a movie Mujhse Shaadi Karogi which was the third highest grossing film of that year. Then she made Aitraaz where she played a negetive role. It was a hit movie and gave her a Filmfare Best Villain Award. She also recived a second nomination for Filmfare Best Supporting Actress Award.

In year 2005, she gave some six flops, out of which Blackmail, Karam, Yakeen and Barsaat were there. Then she came in two films Waqt: The Race Against Time and Bluffmaster which went well on box office. Then in 2006, She starred in two successful films Krrish and Don - The Chase Begin Again. In year 2007 she made another two films Salaam-e-Ishq: A Tribute To Love and Big Brother which got flop on box office.

Then in year 2008 she starred in Love Story 2050, God Tussi Great Ho, Chamkua and Drona which again got flop. Then she made a film Fashion which was a success. She got several awards for this film including National Film Award for Best Actress and also the Filmfare Best Actress Award. Later that year she was seen in another film Dostana which was again a success.

In year 2009 she came in film Kaminey with Shahid Kapoor. Then she did What's your Raashee?. Then she became the first actress in the world to portray 12 distinct characters on screen. She is being considered for inclusion in Guinness World Records in his next edition.

In 2010 she came in film Pyaar Impossible which got flop on box office. Then she did Anjaana Anjaani with Ranbir Kapoor which was given a good response initially at box office but did not recived well from critics.

In year 2011 Priyanka appeared in 7 Khoon Maaf, where she plays an Anglo-Indian woman who murders her seven husbands.
