MUMBAI — Priyanka Chopra has shot some Hindi promos for her maiden American serial “Quantico” for her Indian fans. The show, produced by ABC Network, will air in India Oct. 3 on Star World and Star World HD.

The actress, who is being celebrated in America and Canada with solo posters of her being plastered across every corner that matters, is, however, most excited to get feedback from her fans on home turf.

Apparently, the actress’ fans from India reached out to her over social media and requested that she shoot Hindi promos of the show that can be aired on Star World. Chopra thought it was a great idea and did so while she was in the city for a while to shoot for “Bajirao Mastani.” Chopra shot three exclusive Hindi promos, working out the concepts with the team.

“TV Guide,” the one-stop-shop to everything on American television, is rooting for Chopra too for this prime-time drama about FBI trainees at the FBI Academy in Quantico, one of whom is a sleeper agent who will engineer a major terror attack on the U.S. This television bible is now betting on Chopra to be the next big thing to watch out for, as she is also featured on Fall TV’s Fresh Face list.

Apart from being featured on the cover of TV Guide’s Fall Preview among stars like Wesley Snipes, John Stamos, Rob Lowe and Emma Roberts, Chopra also finds herself on the number four spot of TV Guide’s Most Popular Celebrities 2015.

Best describing her as “the female Jason Bourne,” TV Guide chronicles her journey so far and talks about what makes her one of the few chosen ones that America is watching. Says TV Guide: “She might be new to you, but Priyanka Chopra is a mega global star, having already proven she’s a triple threat singer-dancer-actress who’s also a humanitarian and columnist. Not too long ago, “The Hollywood Reporter” also listed Chopra as one of the top 10 hottest television stars to watch out for.

The ABC network is banking on the actress’ global appeal, prepping a massive marketing push for the premiere and trotting Chopra out on stage at its upfront presentation for advertisers alongside fellow female leading stars Ellen Pompeo (“Grey’s Anatomy] and Kerry Washington (“Scandal], speaking volumes for the confidence they have in the Indian star.
