* I mentioned to Miraver in another thread that my Mom won 1st place in luther league when she was young---she was the lead singer and her choir sang "I come to the garden alone."

Congrats to your mom.

I sang this one to my daughter's son. He is 6; Papa(my hubby) over-heard him singing it to his baby sister a few months ago.

At 2 yrs old he was singing Song Sung Blue - Neil Diamond. My hubby used to sing that to our daughter when she was a baby; they danced to that song when she got married.  Papa(Hubby) sang it to our grandson... on his 2nd birthday we were all surprised when he was singing Son Sung Blue.
2 other songs I taught him were On top of spagatti & O bla di o bla dah...

I, also, taught him to sing the first few lines of Mere namm chinchin soo
