Qur'an 2:183-185 Surah Al-Baqarah (The Heifer)
O ye who believe! fasting is prescribed to you as it was prescribed to those before you that ye may (learn) self-restraint.

My best wishes goes out to all who observe the fast.

May it be as easy and enjoyable for you, as it is for those who look forward

for this month.

To my Canadian friends, you are a special people so your days will be longer.

May the Peace and Blessings of the Almight be with all of us.

We started today.....16-1/2 hours of fasting!

will be a good test of my self-restraint!
