Rose Deonarine, originally from Penal, Trinidad and now residing in New York, has been described as the “talk of the community” in more ways than one.

As a young girl, Rose grew up in a very close knit family and community.  She always had a genuine passion to become a part of the entertainment industry.  When she migrated to the United States, she quickly made that dream a reality.

Focusing on the community, culture, and people, Rose has solidified a permanent home in the world of Radio Broadcasting and Television.

For over eight years, Rose has been touching the lives of listeners and viewers across the nations.   She promotes new music, news, and community events.  She’s hosted over 100 stage shows, a feat not many can add to their record.  “Sometimes, a schedule like this can be trying, but the love of the people and the encouragement they provide keeps me going”, says Rose.

Rose is a force to be reckoned with.  On the radio, her voice can soothe, excite, and tantalize listeners.  As Emcee, she captures the audience’s attention from the moment she takes the microphone.  Her television interviews are always professionally done, and leave viewers wanting more.

Rose, a woman of the community, the voice of the community, and the link of communities in nations around the world.

In the garden of entertainment, where such a variety of talent lies, there in the center of it all is one precious flower, the link that’s hold the entire garden together, a rose, our Rose.

I listened to bits and pieces of her interviews. I especially like Sarah B's interview and her take on wearing a piece of garment over and over and over.

I say, if it fits, wear it!
