OK Folks!

If you opened up this thread and are reading this---it means you are curious about the subject.hahahaha

Now, most of you are hopefully in loving relationships and so you have zero interest in past lovers or relationships.

Or maybe you are adventurous like Riya---always on the lookout for a new conquest.

Maybe you are like chameli, who is happily married but sometimes think about the Australian dude who wanted to marry her when she was 19.lol

Not sure about alena---she seems well put together---but she has daughters who may need advice when they grow up.

I won't even mention amral---the last time he asked for advice regarding sugar mama's niece---the Rev apparently gave the wrong advice---amral received a blackened eye from sugar mama---next thing Rev was banned.hahahaha

Anyway, let's get serious---the Rev is sure that many of you sometimes come across others, friends, relatives, sons, daughters, who ask you for advice on forgetting past relationships---past lovers.

SO WHAT ADVICE DO YOU GIVE TO SOMEONE WHO IS TRYING TO FORGET A PAST LOVER ?

HERE ARE A FEW TIPS ON FORGETTING A PAST LOVER:

1. STOP THE COMMUNICATING:---no more talking to each other---no more being just friends--that is bull$shit--just stop the communicating.

2. THROW AWAY EVERY PIECE OF MEMORY---every piece---GARBAGE time---don't hang onto a single piece of memory---OK! if it's a rolex watch--don't toss in the garbage---sell it---and keep the money---buy something you like.lol

3. DELETE STUPID PICTURES---or if you have an album---burn it---or throw in the garbage---especially the nude photos of the 2 of you together---burn those----don't make cain get a hold of them.lol

4. DELETE EVERY SINGLE TEXT OR EMAIL---or if you have letters---tear them up---garbage time.

5. FORCE YOURSELF TO FORGET THE FEELING---if you were dumped you will still have feelings---if you did the dumping---there will not be any feelings.

BOTTOM LINE:

Listen up!

* It's not a matter of being bitter---it's just a matter of being fair to the next person who will try to be the one for you.

WHAT SAYS YOU GOOD FOLKS ?

Good advice or bad regarding forgetting a past lover ?

You love them and move on, huh ?

Listen!

In the world of human beings---people with feelings---not animals----there are millions of people who hang onto past relationships----they refuse to move on.

The advice in this thread is for people who have difficulties forgetting past lovers.

yeah good advice Rev, as for sugar mama, noy a lot of things have happened since we last took that topic up, bai that niece of hers, well how shall I say it gently, that ship is not going on a maiden voyage, that boat has sailed a few times and mama aint know nothing otherwise that ship would have been dry docked by now and I am willing to bet that the captain on one of those voyages is right under mama nose, but I am minding my own business.

amral bhai:

The Rev suspected you lacked the confidence to close the deal with sugar's niece---you needed to believe in yourself more.

Life is short my friend--you have to take a risk, take a chance, make a change, and break away.lol

ANYWAY, YOU BLEW A GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY Amral---it's only the rare man who has a wife, a mistress and a girlfriend.hahahaha

RE: FANTASY LOVER

But here is the great news for you amral---fantasy love is more exciting than the real thing---you are a man---you already know that---now, since you couldn't close the deal with sugar mama's niece---sugar's niece could now be your fantasy lover.hahahaha

Remember amral:

FANTASY LOVE IS MORE EXCITING THAN REAL LOVE---Reality can get boring; fantasy excites the brain cells---hang onto sugar's niece---fantasizing is healthy and exciting.hahahahaha

How are you my dear ? Good to be back.

Well, the Rev has visited his friends over at political and they were all delighted to have me back. lol

Regarding TK and stormborn, I am reminded of a comment Mohandas Gandhi once made:

"Great spirits(the Rev) have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds(TK/redux, strormborn, mitwah, etc)."hahahahaha

Nice topic here. As per:

FORCE YOURSELF TO FORGET THE FEELING.

Now how can you ever forget when it was your first love and you melted and got the weak knees when you looked into her eyes ? It is never easy to forget. Her parents married her off when I left for Canada. How can I ever forget her ?

I am happily married and will never seek her out again but I think of her every day of my life.

This is not a dear Abby response but you see how complex it can get.

Who has said that humans have no feelings?

It is sick feelings that keep people back. Have feelings....good ones... the ones that you are comfortable with enough to move on. Don't you think the other parties want to move on?

It is the sick people who need the kind of "advice"  - The advice in this thread is for people who have difficulties forgetting past lovers.

You don't know how to end a romance and be on good terms with the Ladies? I can teach you a thing or two about relationships with the opposite sex.....as long as you can determine yours....

yuji:

In life you don't get what you want you get what you deserve.

You said you are happily married yuji---your wife has made your world beautiful---and you have beautiful children.

Listen! If you are being truthful, and I'm sure you are, then you ought to be thankful that the parents of your first love married her off to a youngman in Canada----look at what God has blessed you with---a loving wife---beautiful children---a happy life.

Regarding your thinking about your first love everyday----that's human nature my friend---nothing wrong with that----this mind of ours can be wild and crazy.

What you are engaging in yuji when you think about your first love is FANTASY.

Like the Rev said to amral---reality can get boring---having a perfect life and wife can get boring---and so you need to find a fantasy world to escape in---and your fantasy world yuji is thinking about what could have been with your first love.hahaha

Keep on fantasizing yuji---once you don't cross the line and try to make that fantasy a reality---you're OK.hahahahaha

By the way, puppy love is the best---chameli recently reminisced about the Australian guy who wanted to marry her when she was 19.

We all engage in fantasy yuji---personally the Rev likes a little nonsense now and then---it wakes up the brain cells---Fantasy is a necessary ingredient of living---don't ever stop thinking about your first love yuji.hahahahaha

HERE'S A FATHER'S ADVICE TO HIS SON---as told by the son

I had it bad for a girl in high school and she rejected me. I was crushed. And my dad found me crying. He listened to my story and said, "Son, I know you are hurting now, and nothing will fix that quick. But I promise you that in a few years you will look back at this moment and you'll be ashamed that you let someone who cared for you so little hurt you so bad."

=============

Solid advice by that father---your ego might be hurt if you are dumped or rejected---but move on----you always get what you deserve in life---always---you don't necessarily get what you want---but you get what you deserve----and if you deserve better----you will get it.

Chami:

* That loser did you a great favor---when you got married to your husband  you should have sent that a$$hole a thank you note---thanking him for giving you a chance to find someone 1000 times better than him.

* Regarding rejection--every human being suffers from rejection---relationships, jobs, whatever---but if you believe in god you will understand that every rejection is God's way of saying wrong direction---you and bata shoe boy were never meant for each other---god said so.

* By now Karma must have bitchslapped and f'ed up that loser who hurt you---remember when anyone hurts you---no need to seek revenge or harbor pains---Karma will deal with them----so go ahead and forgive and forget him---he did you are great favor.

Riya mentioned somewhere---the past is the past---turn the page or the chapter and move on---she is 100% correct.
