So sorry. Deepest condolences to his family. My brother got along great with him here and used to tease him about his Harrison Ford photo, doffing his hat, etc. I used to wonder why he stopped posting. He was here a long time, and was a Moderator. He checked here a few weeks before his passing. I guess he was 80.

RIP Hamid. He was our journalist in residence.

Sorry,  I was hoping to reconnect. 

Over the years we have lost many of our comrades here to the great beyond.

A whole year later before we know about it

Makes one wonder which other members have not just left the forum but have passed on, especially if we don't stay in touch with anyone outside of the forum.

I rem the 1st death whn I was a newbie ..

A guy called CLIFF had died..i dont rem the details .  I rem he had written something distasteful on my post n he was reprimanded.

he apologised n stayed far away from me..not long after, the news came that he  had died!

I heard he was electrocuted whilst he was swimming. Then there was Mara, whom I happened to meet when he passing thru Toronto. He visited Guyana and got sick from Mosquito stings. He returned and went into a coma and never recovered.

also Keith's brother too.
