River to River Free Festival Fun!
The annual River to River festival is a multi-venue music and history extravaganza. Downtown Manhattan's parks, piers, and public spaces are the settings for amazing entertainment, educational, and cultural programs for the entire family - and most festivities are FREE!
River to River festivities begin June 1, and continue through September. Here's a sample of what River to River delivers:
Remember Green Onions? How about Time is Tight? Your mind may not recall the titles, but your feet will surely recall the tunes, when Booker T and the MG's hit the stage on Wednesday, June 13, at 7 p.m., at Rockefeller Park on the Hudson River; FREE
Enjoy Target Children's Day, hosted by Gordon from Sesame Street and featuring lots of your tot's favorite pals, on Saturday, June 16, starting at noon, at the South Street Seaport; FREE
River to River hosts the downtown vantage point for the Macys Fourth of July Fireworks display, Wednesday, July 4, starting at 9 p.m., at the South Street Seaport; FREE
