In Britain's Kensington Palace there's a pair of drawers belonging to Queen Victoria [1819-1901]. The queen's underwear measures 50 inches around the waist. When she was crowned at 18 years old, Victoria had a 22-inch waist. She became clinically depressed after her husband Prince Albert died in 1861 and sought comfort in food and more food.

In contrast to Queen Victoria, Britain's King William III was physically puny throughout adulthood. Today one can view a vest and a pair of socks that the king wore. They look like the vest and socks of a 12-year-old boy.

Prashad

Bookman/Gilakka you would recover faster if your should stop stressing yourself out over the size of the regal underware....

Many may not be aware that Victoria spoke fluent Hindi !....

And her husband Albert  was her cousin.....

The tradition continued with her great-great grand daughter Elizabeth who married her cousin Phillip....Elizabeth's great grand father Edward and Phillip's great grandmother Alice were siblings.....

Also Charles' great great grand father Edward and Camilla's great grand mother Alice Kepple were lovers....

So much for regal titbits.....
