Yesterday, Indians bade farewell to their last commercial telegraph operation, which closed in the face of competition from the internet and mobile technology. The 162-year-old Indian telegraph service was one of the most popular in the world.

I wonder if people still send telegrams in Guyana. I used to send from Meten-meer-zorg Post Office and GPO, G/T.
