"Regardless of all the known sins of the PPP/C, the rational choice for Indians is to hold their nose and cast a vote for the PPP/C this year.

No amount of shirt tearing and screaming at the ordinary Indian voter is going to change the fact that the most sensible and least risky/dangerous path for the Indian electorate to take is return the crab daags to office.

The Indian voter is being asked to choose between HIV and AIDS. I would choose PPP/C HIV over full blown AIDS."

Good Morning Parosin,

You would be my favorite neighbor...but for your garbage disposal habits and my yard

Is this your idea of a ringing endorsement of the PPP by yours truly?

I was just making the point that I can understand and appreciate how an ordinary Indian voter is likely to view his 2015 choices....pretty much the way we've always viewed them. Bad vs. disastrous.

Redux you can jump up and down all you wish but this reflects the thinking of the average Indian voter.

If you cannot woo Indians like Shaitaan then you might as well kiss the Indian vote good bye.  And the PPP will be able to buy some Amerindian and African/mixed votes, so APNU/AFC will also have to pick up some Indian votes if it is going to win.

So you don't want to attempt to woo anti PPP folks like Shaitaan, who remain confused about being asked to vote PNC, given that party's legacy of bad behavior towards Indians, even as recently as 2001!

OK.  PPP wins with 50.1% of the votes.

PPP will win 50.1% if the AFC is as stubborn as you are.

No worries for me as I don't live in Guyana, nor do any close relatives of mine.

I doan know what Parosin here is smoking but I want some.

Here is some detail for Parosin:

I, an atheist Christian of Hindu Muslim origin, with dougla first cousins (who are very much part of our family) in every generation since my great-great Indian grandmother made the leap with a Bajan second husband. Also of "pure" Corentyne stock since 1886. With zero gripes about the 1964 to 1992 PNC. No family sob stories of PNC imposed hardship (we have none of any real significance). On the contrary, we all have many positive stories of how individual Blacks used their PNC positions to always help us out when we needed something done. One Grandfather was a Lodge man who worked mostly at DEMBA in Linden. And I grew up with fond memories of Black neighbors and friends (except one pet duck incident). etc. etc.

The list goes on.

I'm probably the most liberal type of Indian you'll find. And I struggle with this Coalition for one cold hard reason. The post-election beat/rob/kill coolie riots and Buxton post 1992. I'm in my 30s.

I am not the average Indian. I'm one of the most persuadable Indians out there. The "average" Indian is no way near as liberal as I.

If you can't make a serious convincing case to me....do you think you can do so with dem bais?

Redux is stuck on ice and is sliding all over the place that he doesn't have time to think logically.  He engages in personal attacks instead of focusing on the larger issue and that is what the  APNU/AFC will have to do to win, given that the PPP has the upper hand in its ability to buy votes, suppress votes, rig votes, and promote its lies to a panicked group if people.

Maybe Parosin just doesn't like me personally

I can understand that
