Prince Charles talked openly about his way of helping the flowers grow, but North Korea doesn't.

The secretive state has apparently got itself in a rice paddy after snaps of the closed country's secret weapon for rice production emerged.

The pictures - taken inside the North Korea's Xinyizhou region in the north west of the country - show a band serenading the crops with songs to make it grow faster.

'The idea is that the rice is inspired, the workers are inspired and the crops grow bigger and quicker,' said one commentator in South Korea, where the photographs emerged
