Hope they bring back memories for you.
Its great to hear the crackling sounds that emits from those records rather than the clean crisp sound that is remastered on CD's now.
Many of us growing up in Guyana in the late 60's and during the 70's will know that our families were not fortunate to own a record player (radiogram) as we use to call it then.
One of our sources of music was from either one of 2 radio stations that we had, Radio Demerara or GBS and we all had our favorite time slots that we will listen.
Our second source was the local rum shop that played these songs on the Jukebox.
Our exposure to music was limited compare to the variety that is available now.
The lyrics back then was pleasing to listen to when compared to today's vulgarity and some that we cannot even make sense of.

Mr Bhim and his band used to play at some of our cricket dancesâĶlast time I saw him was 7 yrs ago. His son is also good on the guitar.
Radio Dem was what we listened to but even that was limited by my parents.
I never went to a rum shop in GuyanaâĶoops I believe I did go into Poachâs at MMZ due to a classmate being a relative but the place I used to go to listen to jukebox was at a famous cake shop over the road from my high school.

âBefore the next teardropâ made my tears flow
