We expected to see a lot of saris and anarkalis on Bollywood beauties attending Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput’s wedding reception at the Palladium Hotel in Mumbai on Sunday night. We weren’t disappointed.

So it was desi fashion on full display at the wedding reception.

Sonam Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor opted for gorgeous anarkalis. Kangana Ranaut turned up in a sari as did Preity Zinta.

Alia Bhatt wore a lehenga with a white top. Kriti Sanon chose a dhoti gown.

Dia Mirza and Genelia D'Souza looked lovely in suits.

Alia Bhatt came a close second in this shiny blue Manish Malhotra lehenga that she wore with a white top. Alia kept her hairdo simple. It was a no-fuss look that caught our attention.

Shraddha Kapoor wore this light blue and peach anarkali by Ankita Choksey to the wedding reception. The look got its touch of sparkle by diamond earrings and cuff from Anmol.
