Yes, tonight (Saturday, April 28, 2012) at the National Stadium-Providence. All proceeds will go towards charity to build a place to home abused and battered children of Guyana. The land has been secure in Berbice by The Maha Saba and the funds from Sonu will help to make the children's dream come true. That's why Guyanese should go out and support Sonu and his concert because he giving everything back to charity. God bless him! I hope they feed him some nice chattak-pattack Guyana style.
You and Nehru should lead by example. I would have stayed back for just such an occasion. But I doubt whether you guys would leave the comfort of your North American pads to go anywhere.
How I miss dem dancing bananas.
Just received News from Guyana. SONU ROCKED THE STADIUN LAST NIGHT.

I am proud to say the tall beautiful kathak dancer is my cousin.
Sonu Nigam enthralls crowds at Guyana
Bollywood's most talented and versatile playback singer Sonu Nigam enthralled the audience at Guyana as he performed at his first concert at the National Stadium, Providence.
The Guyanese turned out in fill force to listen to Sonu sing and he did not disappoint them at all. Sonu put on an uninterrupted 3- hour high-energy performance for the over 20,000-strong crowd at the Guyana Hindu Dharmic Sabha's fund raising event.
The crowd went crazy when Sonu sang his ever popular 'Kal Ho Na Ho'. Some of the fans who could not contain themselves rushed to the front of the audience to dance to Sonu's music and to take pictures. Among some of the other songs, he performed 'Salaam E Ishq' and his idol Mohamed Rafi Saab's 'Kya Hua Tera Wada' and 'Chahonga Mein Tujhe'.
Nigam's performance was so enchanting that Guyana's president Donald Ramotar joined the singer and the duo performed on the popular Indian oldie 'Suhani Raat'. Ramotar later described the concert as one of the best concerts ever to be held in the Guyana.
Proceeds from his concert will go towards constructing a home for battered women and children in Berbice.
