I have to admit they're all pretty, but the girl with the Indian name is cross breed with African blood. I would have love to see a pure Indo Guyanese girl in the midst, but due to the contamination of African blood, the generation of today is artificially called Douglas. This new race has no pureness in their blood and has no culture or identity, other than a pretty face. What would it take to maintain your Indianess from being contaminated by Africans?

The only thing "pure" that you are is pure dalit..and even that is dubious since for most of the early days of indentureship, cohabitation between the races was widely practiced since there were a ratio of 20 to 1 men to women among indentured.

For pure dalitdom you have to examine the cohabitation  of the suduras from jats like chamar, danglar, doms, dossas etc some greater than twenty distinct tribal peoples. Just as  they synthesize a culture in Guyana from  various peoples, these young people ate synthesizing their own culture.

For your information, no one is ever without a culture or identity. If indeed there is not a swaying to one culture or another, the attendant liminality results a  dissolution of  both. Out of amenable intersections arises a stable hybridity . Thankfully that involves abandoning stupid racist paradigms as you embrace.

Your great great grandma possibly was African.

Your kind is the stupid kind or you would make the distinction between species. The only thing you protects is your ignorance  as it is based on the fictive apprehension of stable cultures or ethnicities.

Everything is fluid about humanity that is why we are able to excel and progress intellectually.

You are too stupid to grasp what you intends in the idea of Africans contaminating your blood line.

This is quite true.  But some will call you an Indian hating racist for saying this.

Like with many other nations, the Indians who come to the US is quite different than the masses of India.  Th feeling of superiority goes to many of their heads and show disdain for other races and other Indians not of their creed.  The only race they suck up to is the white race.  I-man was treated like a king in India.

Sorry you have already been culturally contaminated by Africans.  As you know most Indians speak an adaptation of  creolese, a form of speech developed by the AfroCaribbean slaves when they arrived in the Caribbean.  This was directly influenced by the pidgin English spoken in parts of West Africa as people from different language blocs had to develop a form of communication with all groups along the trading network, and ultimately with the British.

So I guess you will immediately stop speaking creolese, but the problem is that your knowledge of bhojpuri Hindi is too rudimentary to allow full communication.

This is all about choices. It's not what you want. People have the right to choose who they want to be with or not.
And your choice of the word 'contaminated is in poor taste.
Your are a racist to the core. I always knew that. It is for this very reason why you're doing the right thing by not going to Guyana. With this mentality, someone is bound to slam dunk your ass.
We are a nation of six races. Get accustom to it.

In the remote villages perhaps?  Unless you suggest that Indian professionals suddenly change when they leave India.

YOu shoiuld come with me and you will see.  I also loved Africa, the people were cool and hardworking.

My first love was a girl of mixed race.  Dutch and African.

She was the most beautiful girl I have or will ever see. Her parents and mine both objected to our relationship and it was devastating for both of us. This was in the early 80's.

I was of a Bramhan family (it does not matter). But you can imagine how racial differences existed back then in Guyana.

Her parents married her off as soon as I moved to Canada. I was devastated.

I am now happily married with a family but I will never recover from the loss of her.

A day will eventually come when race will not and should not matter when people fall in love.  Some of my Indo Guyanese cousins have married other races and are very happy.

Love will eventually win. Those who are ignorant will wither and die.

The Red girl is still in yuji22's heart.  No wonder he is preying every day for her to come back.  A truely sad situation. I think I know the girl.  Very sad indeed.

Which cultural identity was sacred in which old days? Before the Moghuls? Before the Aryans? Before ????

For your information African blood is the purest. As a person of mixed background I can only view your post with sympathy and amazement at the degree of your ignorance.

That man does not read. India has always been a place of over a 1000 cultures with their own language and rituals. Even today the tribal belt resists integration and Until Recently, the Tamils ( the ancestors of many of us) did not want to be a part of india.

Lastly, Guyanese Indian culture has no parallel in India. It is casteless, Sanathan Dharma ( carefully cultivated in it by the BEGIA)  which is a re[placement practices for numerous distinct rituals and belief systems of the many distinct cultural peoples it now shelter under it's umbrella.

So totalizing was the indoctrination of the BEGIA that only a few legacy beliefs of the old people remains and that is mainly among the madras and the Durga matha/kali worship of a few in berbice. Their languages are gone and even their food culture is gone.  We in Guyana represent what is possibly the best of what india should be despite our numerous short comings.

Your so-called strict standards matter not. You do realize you are not a brahmin. How far do you live from PT. Narsingh?

It seems most of you endorse interracial marriages and screwing. Therefore,  I am convinced that all of you have a Black man in your family. Now it's time to face the hard question: If you so believe in interracial relationship, would you go in a temple or mosque and tell the Indian women that a Black man is good to frig them?
