Traditions are so deep seated in cultures….not only Indians.

My ‘friend’ from Mauritius experienced similar except for the intimacy….that was very active but when the family refused to give him a property in Mauritius he wanted her sent back. Luckily, she got her status here. Recently, he accused her of violence because he held her arm very tight and she pushed him away. I pleaded with her to stay far from him. She can apply for citizenship in one yr. She finally left him and is renting a room😒
