First make sure that all the print jobs in the printer are cancelled and the buffer clear. If it does not print, uninstall and reinstall the printer drivers.

I bet the printer selection in the word doc does not default to his current printer.

Did you set your printer as default printer in word?

did you try uninstalling the drivers? Go to control panel under system devices under printer and remove the drivers. restart the computer with the printer turned on and wndows will install a suitable driver.

Staples will print your documents from a flash drive or via email, meanwhile to protect your employment. Then in print manager or printer and faxes in control panel, select your printer then left click, click on properties then print test page. If it prints then you know there is connectivity. The print driver reinstall should be attempted.

Read it somewhere that if its pirated software they send messages back to the company and they can block you from using it or printing it or copying and pasting it to another file.

Can you print from other softwares to said printer?
