I know bai, here is a question though, can I add XP to this computer now , that way I can have a dual boot system. I know normally you have to have XP on the system  first and then add the new version.

Yes, normally XP goes in first, but you can also load it through Virtual Machine (VMWare), and access it from within Win8.

get a windows live account and use the outlook option. Your troubles will be over.

I also  can switch IP on the fly . You need to use one to avoid the PPP peeking in on your online activity. Even your ISP does not know what happens in the browser. You can access your  mail  etc and those suckers would not know if you are in Germany or Spain.
