20th August 2007 marked the beginning of an era on Television in more than one way. One of the most successful youth shows of Television was launched in the form of Dill Mill Gayye.
Bollywood's new hottie and TV's heart-throb, Karan Singh Grover shot to instant fame with his portrayal of Dr. Armaan Malik. Becoming a doctor and being in a hospital suddenly started to look uber cool.
The popularity of the show, which ran for over 3 years, was unanimous. Right from the songs of the show to the characters to the actors, the craze was unparalleled.
Till date, DMG is recognised as one of the most popular youth show of Television having won several awards for the same.
